Part of our Scríobh Range which celebrates popular Irish words, this piece features the traditional Irish blessing ‘Go n-eirí an bother leat’, which translates as ‘May the road rise to meet you’.
 
This seanfhocal, or Irish proverb, is used to express good wishes to those departing on a journey or starting a new venture, wishing them luck and success on the road or journey ahead.
 
The Gaelic language is experiencing a resurgence and its beauty can be seen in this award-winning design, originally carved by Adam Grabski.
